No. Every order is signed in your own wallet and settled directly on the XRP Ledger. XRPBay never has access to your keys or tokens.
The XRP Ledger charges a tiny network fee (a fraction of a cent). Swaps through the XPAY/XRP AMM pool also pay the pool's trading fee, which goes to its liquidity providers. Each open order locks a small XRP reserve until it is filled or cancelled.
It fills only when another trader accepts your price. Buy orders below the market price or sell orders above it wait in the order book; move the price closer to the spread to fill faster.
